Description:
Yerevan State Puppet Theater after Hovhannes Tumanyan was founded on June 1, 1935. The founders of the theater were performer Sofia Bejanyan, painter Gevorg Arakelyan, actors Pavlos Boroyan and Araqsya Arabyan. The first director was Varya Stepanyan.
