7 Days / 6 Nights

DAY 1: GARNI-GEGHARD-YEREVAN
Pick up and transfer to the hotel. Breakfast in the hotel. Take a tour to Garni Pagan Temple
(1st c. AD). Temple of Garni itself was dedicated to god of Sun Mithra. Although the
Temple of Garni resembles the Hellenic-period monuments, it is still an unexcelled
sample of Armenian monumental architecture of its times. Experience “Lavash”
(Armenian traditional bread) baking master-class in Garni village. Continue your way to
Geghard Monastery (4th c., UNESCO World Heritage Site). Later enjoy a mysterious
excursion to Master Levon's “Miracle” Cave. Continue the day with Yerevan City Tour
(Republic Square, Cascade, National Theater of Opera and Ballet, Matenadaran, etc.).
Complete the day with welcome dinner in a typical Armenian restaurant. Overnight at
the hotel in Yerevan. 

DAY 2: SEVAN - DILIJAN
Breakfast in the hotel. Enjoy the morning tour to the “Blue Pearl of Armenia” - Lake
Sevan. Take ascent to the top of Sevan Peninsula where Sevanavank Monastery (9th c.) is
situated and enjoy the majestic view over the lake. Upon descending the hill take a
refreshing boat tour on the lake. As a pleasant continuation have lunch by the lake with
famous Sevan crayfish. After the lunch head for Dilijan and visit Haghartsin Monastery
(11th c.) nestled in dense forests. Drive to Lake Parz near Dilijan. “Parz” meaning “clear”
in Armenian is an implication of the natural pureness of the lake. Take a horse-riding
adventure near the lake before returning to Dilijan. Overnight at the hotel in Dilijan. 

DAY 3: LASTIVER - DILIJAN
Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning start a hiking tour to Park Village Lastiver
which is a place of pilgrimage for many people. Caves and the waterfalls of
Lastiver are rare wonders of Mother Nature. To complete the dose of extreme
take a zipline adventure near Lastiver. Have lunch with traditional Armenian
barbeque master class and drive back to Dilijan. Overnight at the hotel in
DIlijan.

DAY 4: SELIM-JERMUK
Breakfast in the hotel. Start the day with a journey to mountain spa town of Jermuk
situated in Syunik region. Driving through the Selim Mountain Pass visit Orbelians
Caravanserai (13th c.) the best preserved caravanserai in the country. Arrive in Jermuk. To
relax after the long journey take thermal baths and Spa procedures in Jermuk. Dinner and
overnight in Jermuk.

DAY 5: TATEV-NORAVANK-ARENI-KHOR-VIRAP
Breakfast at the hotel. The day's first attraction is Tatev Monastery (9th c.). Before
reaching the breathtaking heights of Tatev and witness its beauty you need to descend
into the 500 meter canyon of River Vorotan, have a break at Devil's Bridge and have a ride
on the longest ropeway in the world. Continue the journey to Noravank (13-14 c.).
Noravank - the “New Monastery” is a medieval Armenian monastery standing out not
only with its appearance but also with the surrounding majestic scenery of Amaghu River
gorge. Drive towards Areni 1 Cave Complex - a famous archaeological site where the earliest known shoe was found along with three other remarkable assets. The next stop
of the day is Areni Winery where an excursion at the winery and degustation of different
sorts of Armenian wine is awaiting you. Have lunch in Areni at a cave restaurant and drive
to Khor Virap. Khor Virap Monastery (4-17th c.) is one of the most popular destinations in
Armenia for a number of reasons, though primarily because it is where Gregory the
Illuminator was imprisoned for 13 years for preaching Christianity. To this day you can
visit the underground chamber which Gregory was imprisoned. Drive back to Yerevan.
Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

DAY 6: FREE DAY

DAY 7: AMBERD-YEREVAN-ECHMIADZIN
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a discovery tour to 7th c. Amberd Fortress located on the
slopes of Aragats Mountain. “Amberd' means «a fortress in the clouds» in Armenian - a
fitting name given that its elevation is 2,300m above sea level. Drive back to Yerevan. Visit
Ararat Brandy Factory and try famous Armenian Brandy. Lunch in Yerevan. Continue the
day visiting Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin. Visit Echmiadzin Cathedral (4th c.) and
Museum, experience the grandeur of medieval churches of St. Hripsime (7th c.) and St.
Gayane (7th c.). On the way back to Yerevan take an escape to Zvartnots Cathedral ruins
(7th c., UNESCO World Heritage Site). Back to Yerevan. Check out and transfer to the
airport. End of services.
